We had a lovely holiday - the weather ranged from grey to glorious - and here's the photo to prove it. This is the main shopping street in Tain which was bathed in sunshine on Saturday morning as we got ready to leave for home.

Holiday in the north of Scotland

We had a quick escape to a self-catering cottage in Tain. A lovely, golden October week in the north of Scotland. OK, the weather wasn't terrific every day but even on the grey days we could get out and explore. It was marvellous.

This image shows Keiss harbour - we called in here late one evening and spent a few minutes having a look around.

I'll publish more photos shortly - but I should really get down to some work!
